Library Workplace Incivility on the Rise
Our latest research on library workplace incivility is available through the Journal of Library Administration. Jo Henry, Rebecca Croxton, and Richard Moniz compared library workplace incivility in 2022 to their 2017 study. Workplace dysfunction, including bullying, has increased significantly over the past five years. In this research, bullying, cyber bullying, mobbing, cyberloafing, and emotional intelligence were explored in addition to the impact of COVID-19 on incivility. Additionally, potential causes from participant comments were analyzed.
